Plan Buying Guide

by admin on June 17, 2010

Many of us want to pick the coolest phone we can find and then we will think about the service plan. Unfortunately, that is not the way it works since not all phones work with every wireless network. You will of course be searching for mobile phone deals that fit within your budget and fit with your lifestyle.

If you are a first time phone buyer, it is better to choose the plan and then the phone. The wrong plan can cost you more than you need to be paying for a phone service and the phone is a one time decision. You should know that wireless systems in the United States are not compatible with the service in Europe and Asia.  This tells you that a Sprint PCS phone will not be compatible with VoiceStream or AT&T Wireless so if you want to switch carriers, then you will need to buy a new phone.

But if you are a high-tech junkie or feel you are an experienced user, then you can start with picking your phone first. Depending on the phone that you choose, you may choose your applicable rate plans, but new users will find this difficult.
